Lucas Leon Holter
Mechanical engineering student and founder of HolterTek — an independent studio for engineering solutions, and reliable IT and information systems.
The
The thread through all of it: build things correctly, then make them inviting. Rigour is not the opposite of warmth — done well, they arrive together.
Background
- 2025 —
Eureca
Vismut Studio — gear geometry and the engineering underneath. Eureca Reactor and Eureca Chemistry Lab, and the molecule knowledge base. Free to use, with the physics and chemistry kept rigorous rather than convenient.
- 2025 – 2028
B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering
Second year, ongoing — the mechanics underneath the gear work, studied alongside the studio.
- 2023 – 2026
B.Sc. IT and Information Systems, Universitetet i Sørøst-Norge
FantDeg was built here — a live traffic-camera application, and the first half of what later became Norsk Trafikkart.
What guides the work
Correct first
Maths that is right, not just convincing — verified by tests, not by eye.
Open where it teaches
Learning tools stay free. Knowledge locked away teaches nobody.
Useful data
Public data belongs where people can actually use it.
Invitation over decoration
Design earns attention by answering questions, not by demanding it.
